Your printer may ask you to send artwork as a PDF. In that case, there are a few things to be aware of.
When you save the PDF, you will see some options that refer to the following
- Color model/profile – discussed here

Image Downsampling
The Adobe PDF Settings dialog has options that enable you to set the level of image ‘downsampling’ when the PDF is generated. Downsampling can make your image ‘fuzzy’ and break any watermarking. When saving your PDF, you must reduce or remove any image downsampling to avoid readability issues.
